Finally done

Here's a picture of the final stage for this knife. It is heading to a friend in Illinois. I made this sheath from 10-12 .oz tooling leather, saddlestitched and put a firesteel loop in and made a firesteel to match the knife. Hope you enjoy this!

Most Recent Knife I've made

Here's a knife made from o-1 steel, 3/16" thick. Caramel micarta scales with 304 stainless mosaic pins and red spacers and a full convex grind with a slightly tapered tang. I made this one for a friend who actually helped design the style and length of blade he was looking for in a knife, I just tried to make it happen. First picture has some cordage I made from the inner bark of the paw paw tree and the second has my steel striker and flint that I pressure flaked the edge on to get a shower of sparks. Just threw the other objects in there and thought someone might ask "what's that other stuff with the knife".Hope you enjoy the knife Vaughn!
